Professional Organizer & Sort•ologist | Function-First Organizing for Real Life

Hello friend…

I’m Kristy… your Cruise Director… I mean Sortologist… I mean Professional Organizer.

I’m not your typical professional organizer.

I’ve always seen the world through systems, flow, and movement. I naturally notice how people move through their homes, where friction shows up, and what makes daily life feel easier or harder. My approach to home organizing is function-first… focused on how a space actually supports the person living in it.

“My approach to home organizing is function-first…”

Pretty is optional.
Working is not.

Meet Your Sort•ologist

Home organizing that’s about more than the stuff

I use humor to lighten the overwhelm because I know firsthand how much emotional weight clutter can carry. Home organizing isn’t really about the stuff… it’s about how we feel about it.

The guilt.
The frustration.
The mental load of unfinished decisions.

If you’ve ever torn apart a room looking for your keys… only to find them in your coat pocket… or felt behind because something wasn’t where it should be… you’re not alone.

Why traditional organizing doesn’t work for everyone

For years, I struggled with burnout, perfectionism, and constantly feeling like I couldn’t keep up. I moved between jobs and environments, often feeling like I was the problem… without understanding why some spaces worked for me and others didn’t.

Eventually, I realized something important.

I wasn’t bad at life.
I was living inside systems that didn’t match how my brain works.

As I researched organizing methods, mindset shifts, and behavior patterns, I discovered ADHD and saw how often traditional organizing systems fail people who think differently… whether diagnosed or self-recognized.

That insight changed everything.

A different approach to professional organizing

I didn’t need to change who I was.
I needed organizing systems designed for spatial thinkers, time-blind brains, and overwhelmed nervous systems.

Today, my work as a professional organizer focuses on:

  • Function-first home organizing
  • Systems that reduce mental load
  • Organizing support for ADHD and burnout
  • Flow-based routines that are sustainable

I don’t force habits or chase perfection. I design organizing systems that honor how your brain already works.

You’re not broken… you’re unsupported

If you struggle with chronic clutter, overwhelm, or feeling behind no matter how hard you try… you are not broken.

You just need organizing systems that work with you, not against you.

When you’re ready, I’ll help you create a home that supports your life, your energy, and your nervous system… without shame, rigidity, or unrealistic expectations.

06. Yep! Calling Myself Out

I usually have 14+ tabs open at the same time, usually in multiple windows.

A girl’s best friend, comic relief, walking partner, & bed hog. (Seriously, he’s a bigger bed hog than me. Lol!)

03. England – My ♥ Lives Here

These are my fave two places.
The Mount Inn – Best place to have a pint & watch the sunset, & Witley Court – A lovely manor abandoned after a fire. (Long story.)
